Adulting 101: Be 20something
It’s past midnight and is still cluttering my thoughts. I am already a 20-something year old but still does not know what I really wanted to become. Right after the last day of my college days, I found myself working already. With that, I came to realize that your first job is not something that you have always wanted and dreamed of. You won’t be compensated the amount you have wished and asked for. You will be struggling with sticking to your tight budget, if you’ll be living independently without asking support from your parents most especially for paying your bills. In almost a year of adulting , I have already jumped into three companies – hustled at a startup based in San Francisco, tried climbing the corporate ladder in a giant real estate company, and am currently learning the basics of public relations from a small firm.
